Water UV Purification
Ultraviolet disinfection of water is a chemical-free process for sterilizing your home's water. UV Water Purification Devices attack the vital DNA of the bacteria directly and renders them harmless. UV can also be used to remove chlorine and chlormaine species from water, but it requires a higher dose than normal disinfection. Their are under the sink models, whole house models are well as washing machine models.
Air UV Purifiers
Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation sterilizes air that passes UV lamps via forced air. UV Air purification systems can be freestanding units with shielded UV lamps that use a fan to force air past the UV light. Other UV Air Purification systems are installed in central air systems so that the air circulation for the whole house moves micro-organisms past the lamps and disinfects the air.
